During his 24 years of professional experience as a valuer, he has gained exposure in valuation of assets, mainly immovable properties. He is, in his personal capacity, empanelled as a valuer with banks, the Calcutta High Court, and the NCLT. He is affiliated to the Institution of Valuers, India, as well as The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, London. His is also a registered valuer with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI).

She has also worked for reputed CA firms like M L Bhubania & Co and Naresh Akshay & Co., and for Mumbai-based NBFCs and merchant banks as well. She has in-depth exposure in cash-flow analysis, credit requirement analysis, valuation of financial assets and derivatives, valuation of intangibles and businesses, resource mobilization and resource management and has been associated with leading banks and corporations. She has served as a retainer-consultant to the multi-billion-dollar Financial Technologies Group.
M.Com (Accountancy) from the University of Mumbai, MBA (Finance) from NMIMS University, Mumbai, as well as Master of Valuation (Real Estate) and Chartered Valuer, is a professional with over 25 years of experience in organised markets, across segments which include valuation, risk management, structured finance, merchant banking, and debt syndication. He has worked in senior management positions with leading investment banks like Darashaw & Co and merchant bankers like SPA Capital & KJMC Capital, before moving on to the role of a consultant expert, as Assistant Vice President & Head of Consultancy at Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). In his long career in consultancy, he has implemented several consulting assignments as Project Director/Leader/Domain Expert for major corporations like Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Electricals, Hindustan Copper, Haldia Petrochemicals, and Binani Zinc, mainly in the area of Risk Management related to Organised Markets. He has addressed various forums on several aspects of organised markets and authored articles in leading journals.
